A message from the president Joel Burki: Greetings and welcome to our B.A.F.A. web site. Many thanks, and acknowledgment of a job very well done, to a few of our members for their up-dating of our web site. Joel here, founding member and acting facillitator, am pleased to be a part of this worthwhile adventure. As an adult learner, I enjoy directed study and exploration of the instrument. The "Forty Sudies..." found at the end of Ryan's Mammoth Collection, published by Melbay, is chocked full of tools for the fiddler without a teacher. We meet at the Dunedin Performing Arts Center the first and third Saturday of every month, in the afternoon from 1:00-4:00 PM. All are welcome. |
